Use Wealth Tracker in Claude and ChatGPT

Wealth Tracker works as a connector in Claude and ChatGPT. Connect it once, sign in, and ask about your money in plain words - or send a statement and have it recorded.

The server address

Both assistants ask for this address when you add Wealth Tracker. Sign-in happens in your browser: there is no key to copy.

Connect it

In Claude

  1. 1Open Customize, then Connectors.
  2. 2Choose Add custom connector, name it Wealth Tracker and paste the server address.
  3. 3Select Connect, then sign in to Wealth Tracker and approve the access it asks for.
  4. 4In a chat, turn Wealth Tracker on from the tools menu and ask, for example, "What is my net worth?"

Custom connectors are available on selected Claude plans. In a Team or Enterprise workspace, an owner may need to add the connector first.

In ChatGPT

  1. 1Open Settings, then Apps and Connectors, then Advanced settings, and turn on Developer mode.
  2. 2Back in Apps and Connectors, choose Create, name it Wealth Tracker, paste the server address and choose OAuth for authentication.
  3. 3Select Create, then sign in to Wealth Tracker and approve the access it asks for.
  4. 4In a chat, add Wealth Tracker from the tools menu and ask, for example, "What needs updating?"

Developer mode is available on selected ChatGPT plans. In a business workspace, an admin may need to allow it first.

What the assistant can and cannot do

It can

  • Read your net worth, totals, allocation and holdings
  • Show how your net worth moved and what your holdings earned
  • Record balances, trades and statements you give it
  • List what is due for an update
  • Undo a change it made, within 30 days

It cannot

  • Move money, make payments or place trades
  • Sign in to your bank or broker
  • See anything you have not added to Wealth Tracker
  • Change your plan, billing or sign-in settings

Your data

The assistant acts as you, with the access you approved, and reads from Wealth Tracker only what your conversation asks for. Every change it makes is recorded and can be undone, and you can disconnect it in Claude or ChatGPT at any time. Our Privacy Policy explains how your data is handled.
